Uiteraard emailed de verkoper alleen via de site zodat zijn mail lastig te traceren is. (maar dat is een kwestie van tijd)

I think it looks like a great car and I would love to add it to my collection.
Let me know about payment options. As I did buy more cars in the USA I know payments sometimes can take long so I like to know what you prefer in case we come to an agreement.

Nu de eerste bevindingen.
- Auto staat te koop via Classic Driver in Zwitserland op dit moment
- In de aanbieding op Classic Driver staat dat de auto in Portugal staat. De verkoper beweert echter dat hij al 10 jaar met de auto in de VS rijdt
- In de aanbieding op Craiglist staat de auto onder tijdzone Los Angeles. De locatie in de advertentie Baton Rouge bij New Orleans 
- Het telefoonnummer van de zogenaamde verkoper is echter een vaste lijn uit New York 
- De mail van vanmorgen laat de zogenaamde verkoper weten dat het 2:23 bij hem is. Dat is de tijd in Los Angeles. Maar ik moet hem op een vast nummer in New York bellen
- Uhhh waarom moet ik hem overigens om exact 6:23 bellen?
Kortom, het rammelt aan alle kanten. Straks maar eens even bellen. Eens kijken hoeveel geld hij via een vage transactie wil laten verdwijnen.
Dit verhaal is nog lang niet ten einde. Begint nu pas leuk te worden.
