P 993 C2 conversie naar Turbo

Heb op de Ruf site even gelezen over een 993 C2 conversie naar Turbo.
Moest wel even kwijlen
... toen ik las dat het vermogen opgekrikt werd van 285 naar 420 PK. Ruf kennende kan ik hieruit concluderen dat de 993 aircooled motor met enige aanpassingen probleemloos opgevoerd kan worden.
Zijn er hier misschien bezoekers die een omgebouwde 993 C2 Turbo hebben?

This Ruf conversion was developed for owners of a Porsche 993 Carrera, increasing their car's performance up to the factory Turbo's level which was not introduced till 1995.
However, the RUF BTR offers a greater variety of options:
Whereas Zuffenhausen's top model is available with four-wheel-drive only, the RUF BTR can be based on the classic rear-wheel-driven Porsche Carrera 2 also. The normally aspirated 3,600 cm³ flat six is converted into a turbocharged engine. Modifications include the fitting of new camshafts, a new exhaust system and a remapped Bosch Motronic together with an intercooler as well as an extra oil cooler. This enhances the maximum output to 420 bhp at 5,000 rpm, that is 135 bhp more than in the factory C2. Altered springs & dampers lower the body by 30 mm, stiffer roll bars and RUF 18" wheels are fitted to accommodate the additional power.
Ultimately, being based on the Porsche Carrera´s smaller body with its discreet appearance, the RUF BTR is the sports car for individualists who set value on high performance together with the utmost understatement.
