HI all, a quick introduction.
I am based in Leigh On Sea in Essex and have owned a 997 c2s for almost 3 years.
I recently bought a 1967 Alfa GT Jnr and absolutely love taking it out on sunny days for a gentle run or spirited high revving drive. Now I have the urge to buy myself an older Porsche.
It may in time become my daily driver (Which means weekends only) if an SC but not neccessarily.
I would love an early 1970s 911 but really cannot justify the cost given how much prices have risen.
It leaves me with a 2.7 911s or more likely a 3.0 SC....targa or coupe not quite sure yet.....maybe even a 912 !

Anyway I will be firing off some questions looking for advice or thoughts over the coming days weeks with the help of google translate as I'm afraid my Dutch is........well non-existent.

Are you going to trade in the 997, the Alfa or is the 911/2 a new addition to the collection?

Hey, I was initially thinking of just adding the 911/912 however given my storage options I may very well source a 911sc and use it as my weekend car and sell the 997.
Tax/Insurance/depreciation add up and given I'd hope I could use the 911sc as a weekend car it makes little economic sense in keeping both. We also have a Skoda Superb estate for family duties so my car really is for me only and I am not totally dependent on it.
